One of the 4 documents I kept up to date throughout the project

Sneakeasy is a 2D, side-scrolling, parkour stealth platformer in which you play as a thief navigating from the slums to the high rises to steal the diamond of Goliath Inc. This was made within a 63 member team (split into Production, Audio, Design, Programming, Art, and QA) in one semester.

My role was to handle everything in implementation Wwise-side (except mixing), and create/maintain all implementation documentation. I worked closely with an audio programmer to plan and place the ambiance and music triggers in the Unity scene and helped another audio team member get familiar with some aspects of Wwise so they could do the mixing. I also troubleshot and fixed audio-related bugs that came from Wwise, the Unity scene, and within the game's code.
Points of interest:
- Implemented a dynamic music system changed depending on what area of the scene the player was in and whether they were being pursued or not.
-
Created the ability for a music track to smoothly transition between variations of different tempos (not a native feature in Wwise).
-
Maintained documentation for implementation and file naming conventions.
-
Collaborated on a 63 member, multi-disciplinary team.
