Project: Husk was a part of a collaboration with Michigan Technological University's Audio Creative Lab class with University of Wisconsin STOUT's 2D game development class. For this game, I was in charge of composing the music, implementing all of the audio into the game, and sound designing the intro and final cutscenes of the game. I was also the main point of contact between the audio team and rest of the developers.


Points of interest:

  • For the in-game theme, I created an adaptive music track in Logic Pro X that got more intense the closer Husk got to The Doctor.

  • The sound of The Doctor's footsteps change depending on whether they are on concrete, wood, or slime.

  • Wrote scrips in C# to manage the audio within the game.

  • The music in-game has a pause variant.

  • Created and maintained a cue list for the audio team.
