The loop range (in yellow) shows what the core loop of the theme was supposed to be in battle
I worked on Culinary Kingdom in a Husky Game Development collaboration with University of Wisconsin STOUT's 2D game development class. In the last month of development, my job was to compose the music. In that time, I made 2 looping chiptune tracks: an overworld theme, and a battle theme.
I originally wrote the battle theme to be played the following way: The opening bit plays upon opening the menu that tells you about the boss before the battle. With the intro (0:00 - 0:04) playing once and the section following it (0:04 - 0:14) looping. Then when the battle starts, the main section (0:14 - 1:04) loops.
Due to limitations engine limitations, however, the programmers opted to loop one of my demo versions of the track instead.
